Cadbury's indulgence

It is always believed that when people are stressed, they start to binge and snack. Well... I am starting to believe this. I am eating Cadbury Fingers while I try to remove the load and pressure on my back. Just wanted to recommend this to those chocolate lovers out there. It's nice and cheap... Do try it... The chocolate melts in your mouth and the biscuit is soooOooOoooo crunchy.

* No advertsiing content* Miss Yeo receives no commission for Cadbury's increase in sale after all my 2E3 students rush to the supermarket to buy this!

Mac Donald's

It is a must for me to visit a Mac Donald's when I travel. Why? Not because I like to eat Mac Donald's (Not after I watched "Super Size Me"), but because Macs tell us a lot about the culture of the country.
Different food feature in different countries. In Thailand, they had the tom yam burger a while ago. In Singapore, we have our Oriental burger, and Japan has their teriyaki burger.
Also, looking at how expensive a Macs meal is also give us some idea of the level of development of the country. In Switzerland, a Macs meal (burger, drink and fries) costs 25 SINGPAORE DOLLARS!!! *ouch* Well..they are more developed than us... How can we complain?
Anyway... here is a picture I took in a Macs in ........Think i don't have to say more...THAILAND!!! Land of Smiles.... (Hi Chat and Piya!!) It shows Ronald in the traditional handsign of Thais...

"Update your Blog"

Well... received an email that day to ask
Anoynomous: "Miss Yeo, update your blog leh. I everyday go and see also nothing new."
Miss Yeo: I'm so sorry... But work is beginnign to pile up and I am officially stuck in the pile of things that teachers have to do. Lesson plans, marking, making worksheets, setting papers, etc.'

My only 'leisure' activity is probably to read my students' blogs (those who do not know might think I am skiving... I am looking at my students' work and marking them!!!) Hope I don't get misunderstood.

Anyway... most of the blogs are up and running. I would say that the majority of them have done well... it is always positive to see them writing in a medium in which they like. To reward these kids, maybe I would post some pictures for them to see. AFterall, blogs are meant to be personal, even though this is for the sake of a english writing journal.
